Convenience in Library Collection Development
Your library collection development may involve a variety of sources, including predetermined series of ISBNs. The Whitehots online system facilitates your ordering process by allowing you to create a shopping cart from an existing list of ISBNs.

Building Carts from your ISBN Lists
To place an order from an existing ISBN list, you must have the appropriate permissions settings. If you require this access, please contact your library administrator for more information. After logging in to the Whitehots online ordering system, there are two ways to utilize this function:

Create a New Cart from an ISBN List

1. Go to the Tasks menu at the top of the screen and select ISBN Import from the dropdown options.
2. Name your new cart in the Create New Cart Name field provided then copy and paste your ISBN list into the larger text box provided. Note: The ISBNs in the list need to be separated by a hard return (or one number per line). Comma-separated lists will not be recognized.
3. Click Import at the bottom of the page. The new cart will appear in your Active Carts list and is ready for additions, changes, allocations or order processing.

Add an ISBN List to an Existing Cart

1. Go to the Tasks menu at the top of the screen and select ISBN Import from the dropdown options.
2. Instead of creating a new cart, select an existing cart from the drop down list located next to Add To Existing Cart.
3. Copy the ISBNs in your list, paste them into the text box provided, and click on Import. The titles in your list will be automatically added to the cart.

If any of the ISBNs in your list are not available through Whitehots, you will receive an on-screen report of these numbers and they will not be added to the cart.
